Texas Hold'em poker or better still Hold'em is the most popular poker game on the earth. Add to that it is even the easiest to learn. Even if you are new to the reality of poker, Hold’em is a great place to start!

Basically there are three kinds of Hold'em poker:

• Limit Hold'em: There are just two betting amounts. Players call them the 'small bet' and the 'big bet'. There betting rounds are four in Hold’em. In limit Hold’em, the first two betting rounds utilize the small bet, and the second two betting rounds apply the big bet. For instance, in a 3/6 game, 3 is the small bet and 6 is the big bet. You could only bet or raise 3 in the first two betting rounds, and you could only bet or raise 6 in the very last two betting rounds. Limit Hold’em is the quite easy to learn. We advise you to start with limit before moving to pot-limit or no-limit.
• Pot Limit Hold'em: Pot-limit only means that you can bet or raise the amount which is already in the pot. If you have a bet in front of you, and you wish to raise the maximum, simply add the amount of your call to the total in the pot. That number will be the limit you can raise, after calling the original bet. Pot-limit can be confusing at first, but the game has a tendency to produce a lot of action.
• No Limit Hold'em: Many of us have seen it on TV. Now, here is your chance to play what many believe to be the purest of all poker games. In no-limit Hold’em, you can just bet all of your chips at any time. This game requires practice and guts, but if you love the thrill of the kill, this is just your game!
